In September 2020, Comfort Kits for Chemo Care was established to provide children undergoing chemotherapy a care package to comfort them as the Covid-19 pandemic prevented family support during the treatment. Over the years, they have raised money by selling homemade dog treats, by dog walking, and from income from a part-time job at a bakery. In 2021 CKCC partnered with business partners to expand CKCC's fundraising efforts. In 2026, Mackenzie Vesotsky became the President of CKCC and continues to explore ways to carry on the legacy of providing comfort to children.

Comfort Kits for Chemo Care is a 501(c)(3) organization which strives to provide comfort to children while they are undergoing chemotherapy treatment. We strive to have each child feel safe, entertained, pampered, comforted and loved during and after the treatment by receiving a custom care package of activities. This is particularly comforting when a family member or loved one cannot physically be present for the child during the treatment.
